On Saturday the 30th May Carlisle Heroes Cheerleading Club attended the NCF National Cheerleading Competition held at Milton Keynes where they qualified for the International Cheerleading Championships which will be held in Sheffield in May 2010.
There were 47 Clubs, a total of 1500 competitors who took part.
Carlisle Heroes Cheerleaders won 12 trophies in total:

Grand Champion Spirit Award
Heroes Cheerleaders received the Grand Champion Spirit Award which is a Trophy awarded to the club who has shown the best spirit and sportsmanship. To win the award our Cheerleaders, parents and supporters all played a part as it is given to the best all rounded Club.
Well Done to all my Heroes! You are all fantastic and make me so proud!! All the Hard work paid off! Thank you to all the spectators for all your support! Loudest crowd ever! Internationals here we come!! :-)
